Since 2015, Martin has proudly been a member of the register of Professional Turners. He consistently captivates audiences with his woodturning demonstrations, which have gained great popularity over the years. Martin is in high demand, frequently showcasing his exceptional skills at UK shows, tool stores, and clubs nationwide.
His expertise extends beyond the borders of the United Kingdom, as he has had the privilege of presenting both in person and remotely at events in the United States, Denmark, Sweden, and Ireland. Martin’s talent and passion for woodturning grows, as he continues to inspire audiences worldwide.
Martin’s easy-to-watch manner, witty and relaxed presentation style make his demos not just informative, but a true delight for the audience.

Having demonstrated woodturning across the UK and overseas, Martin is well-versed in engaging audiences. His knowledge and insight, particularly his excellent finishing processes, are communicated clearly.
After booking, you will receive an email confirmation of the costs, and after the demo, any demo notes will be forwarded for distribution to your club members.
Remote Demonstrations
The purpose built studio has a dedicated seven camera set-up in which is able to provide all viewers a front row seat. Martin also uses custom on-screen graphics which provide superb clarity during the demonstration.
Using Zoom to present remotely is an ideal option for clubs where travel costs would be too high for Martin to attend in person.
Being right at the forefront of the UK rush to provide remote woodturning demonstrations in 2020, Martin is still there with some of the best technology and presentations in the country.
In October 2024, Martin upgraded his streaming set-up to include three 1080p PTZ remote control cameras and installed the amazing Starlink satellite broadband.
This new set-up will continue to keep Martin at the front of live woodturning in the UK.
Later in 2024, the current set-up will move to a more dedicated set-up in more of a ‘studio’ style configuration.
